My wife lost her snet email password. Can she recover it please?
JA: When did you last reset your username and password?
Customer: Never. But the username appears to still be valid.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: A professional computer techie tried and said he can't do any more.
JA: The computer expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?

Hello & Welcome to JustAnswer.

Thank you for your question. I will do my best to assist you. My name is Jamie.

You are referring to your at&t email correct?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Good - you're responding. I repeatedy entered my identity and new password ***** could get no further.
The identity is for Snet, which may have been absorbed into [email protected]
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Jamie - are you responding? Brian
Expert:  James Gilmer replied 6 months ago.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
8230;and that is on her iPad.
Expert:  James Gilmer replied 6 months ago.

Yes, go to that site above. Put in her email address, be sure lost password ***** ***** Where it says username put in your email address***@******.***

It will then prompt for you to answer 2 security questions that were setup to reset the password.

Expert:  James Gilmer replied 6 months ago.

I can do it for you, but we need to be on a more secure means of communication if you want me to reset it for you. I can text you if you wish to give me your cell. Let me know.

Expert:  James Gilmer replied 6 months ago.

Were you able to get the password *****?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Jamie. Thank you. Sorry to be negative but my cell phone is useless where I live because of poor reception. And I must avoid the security questions because I don't know where to go when they're rejected: my wife cannot remember her teacher's name and the city where we first met is not accepted. So what can we do now?

Welcome to Justanswer.com, my name is Dustin.
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are having, I will do my best to help you resolve it.

Do you still pay Snet / At&t for internet, or mobile phone service?

if so, is your wifes account associated with the paid account?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Hello Dustin. No, we use Comcast now.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I must go out now.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Hello Russell. I am available now if you have questions/info. B.

Hello again. It seems the problem is resolved. The SNET-addressed emails have appeared in the Yahoo emails, even though my wife does not have a Yahoo email address. I think we'll have to switch to Yahoo and maybe avail any further problems. If you could arrange for a partial refund, that would be appreciated.
Expert:  Dustin replied 6 months ago.

My apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Glad to hear the mail is coming in now. It sounds like your snet account was merged with yahoo. As far as the refund, this link will help you submit that refund request.
