Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Does disk usage go down soon after booting up? Or does it keep staying high for a long time?

When did this issue first occur?

Was there any change recently to your computer that may have caused this issue?

Please let me know. Thank you,

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
active disk time stays up at 100% most of the time even when no programs are open. No changes recently and i'm not sure when this started happening

Thank you. Please try this first: Press at the same time the 3 keys Ctrl, Alt, Del on the keyboard, then click on Task Manager, then click on "More details" option if shown at bottom. Then click on the Startup tab at the top. Then right-click on each of the items there, then click on the Disabled option, if available. Then shut down / restart the computer and check.

Please let me know. Thank you,
