Hi, My computer died all of a sudden
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: Asus E502M
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Whats troubleshooting?
JA: The computer expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: Yes, my sister had a usb connected to the computer tranfering some pics and it was when she took out the usb the laptop became black and died

Please try this to see if you can get the laptop to turn back on.

Remove the charging cord from the laptop.

Firmly hold down the power button for 30 seconds and release.

Plug the charger back in to the laptop and press the Power button to start it up.

That's a starting point.

From you description of what happened it sounds like there's an internal short on the laptop

that occurred when the USB cable was removed.

Does anything at all happen when the power button is pressed.

When the laptop is plugged in to power are there any lights on

like by the charging port or the power button itself?

If it's totally dead it needs to be manually inspected.

If it's out-of-warranty you might consider using a local shop.

What? The person I first spoke to at this website told me an expert can solve my problem so I payed what I had left on my bank card and now you are advising me to contact asus? Well, thank you but I could've done that by myself. I need the laptop now as I have to hand in my essay in order to begin my masters now... I'm not satisfied at all, and I want my money back from you
