Hello Pearl. I am sooo frustrated with Hotmail just now! I can go and put the kettle on while it opens, then make the tea while it decides to open a mail, then it says 'This task could not be repeated, please try again'. I do, but same again! I am very computer illiterate, but have been using one for 20 years+ and usually manage; I don't know technical terms though. I am on a Mac Notebook, about 2 years old and am using Safari.
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Hotmail account?
Customer: About a month. Always was a bit slow, but nothing like this. We live in rural Ireland and are at 'the end of the line', so our broadband is not great, but there's been no change to anything else.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I haven't. Don't know how!

Other than, as I explained, we don't have great broadband where we are, but nothing else is different lately, other than hotmail.

It looks like you are not there. Let me provide a couple of solutions. I'm sorry; it took me a few minutes to write all the steps. Please try my solution(s) below when you are available.

Solution #1:

- In Safari, click on the Safari menu at the top, then click on Clear History and Website Data... (or Clear History or Empty cache)

, then from the drop-down list, select option all history, then click on Clear History (or empty cache)

, then click on the Safari menu at the top again, then click on Preferences

, then click on Privacy tab at the top

, then click on Remove All Website Data, if available, then click on Remove now

, then check your hotmail email.
