Yahoo tells me they 't have an e-mail account ID/ nor do

Yahoo tells me they don't have an e-mail account for my ID/ nor do they accept my password. I KNOW each is correct. They don't accept either of our cell phone numbers; we don't have internet on our simple phones. I fear that our e-mail account has been destroyed / disappeared/ What can I do? I'd like to contact them but all efforts have been futile.
