I have a Lenovo T420S. Typical screen resolution was

I have a Lenovo T420S. Typical screen resolution was 1600X900. I also had it connected to an external monitor via a USB miniport. I disconnected it from the Miniport and since then, when I boot up, it has a maximum resolution on the LCD screen of 1440 x 900. It also only gives me the option of "Mobile PC Display" as a choice in Screen Resolution. I have tried to install Lenovo Monitor drivers, but that does not change anythign, even though I can find a driver for Thinkpad 1600X900.
