Customer Question

As a journalist, I am constantly on various news apps. CNN, AP, New York Times and others function fine. Only Politico via Firefox browser fails ALWAYS, not occasionally. Always with the same three script lockups; none of which ends the lockups. Occasionally Restart helps but often not. Complete shutdown, wait a minute to reboot, "cures" the Politico script lockup again, sometimes only. I am a reporter, not a technicial. I don't know how the system works, I do know I expect it TO WORK. Your online describes problems, it doesn't damned little to fix problems. So two angry, fed-up simple yes or no questions to solve the lockups:
1. Will deleting and reloading Firefox help?
2. Will deleting and reloading Politico help?

I think turning off a javascript for this website can solve a problem. Give me couple of minutes. I am trying at my end to see if I am also facing the same problem.

Can you go to this link and check if all your plugins are up to date :-

Also check if your firefox is installed with the latest version :-

  1. Click the menu button , click help and select About Firefox.
  2. The About Firefox window will open and Firefox will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically.
  3. When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart Firefox to Update.
