Customer Question

Gentlemen: In as much as I will soon approach my 79th birthday, I feel that I have
had some experiences that you younger people may not have had. One of these is the
quite old and very racist form of entertainment known as the MINSTREL.
To have a MINSTREL, all the entertainers were white and made up in blackface.
The so called entertainers would sit on a bench and trade racist jokes and punch
lines that were intended to entertain but were voilently anti-black. Our church, to it's shame regularly held MINSTRELS. And to advertise this weird form of entertainment
they would put up placards decorated with caricatures of persons of color.
UNFORTUNATELY, ON THE OPENING SCREEN OF MY WINDOWS 10 THERE IS A
SMILEY FACE THAT IS AN EXACT REPLICA OF THE RACIST ADVERTISEMENT OF THAT
SORRY TIME.
As such, I would greatly appreciate it if in your next upgrade to Windows 10, that
this sorry caricature were somehow rendered less sensitive. Thank you.
