I have a Helix Lenovo and I am getting a "keyboard doc fan

Customer Question

I have a Helix Lenovo and I am getting a "keyboard doc fan error" followed by "press esc to continue". When I touch the screen to get the keyboard on the screen, and hit the esc key, nothing happens. I can't get into the system to try to fix anything or run anything because the keyboard doesn't work either. Can you help?

there is a reset procedure we can attempt
on the back of the keyboard you will see a mini display port connection
disconnect the tab from the keyboard dock
also unplug power and disocnnect any external device connected to the tab
now on the back of keyboard besides the mini display port you will see a pinhole
use paper clip to press the reset button thats inside the pin hole
