See if you can set your computer back to the state it was in before the update.
Start or restart the computer such that you are looking at your login screen (but don't log in)
While holding down the Shift key, click the Power icon in the lower right corner (far right)
and click Restart from the menu.
Release the Shift key when you see "Please Wait"
From the Choose an Option page select Troubleshoot.
click Advanced Options
click System Restore
When System Restore starts, click Next.
Put a checkmark in the Show more Restore Points box.
Select a restore point just prior to the update and click Next.
On the next page click Finish and the restore will begin.
This will not affect your documents or programs but should
revert your computer to the state it was in before the update.
