I just tried to upgrade my laptop to w10. When it completed

I just tried to upgrade my laptop to w10. When it completed I noticed that it told me that my version of 8.1 was not activated (which it was) and it put the home edition of 10 on. I cannot put this home on my domain, and my version of 8.1 was pro!
Please help. This version of 10 is usless for me.

You could try reverting back to Windows 8 to see how it reacts.

Go to start --> settings --> update & security --> recovery --> revert back
