Customer Question

I accidentally deleted a folder with numerous business files. I've tried to restore using previous versions. Nothing has worked. Can you help me?

Hello,

My name is David.

I would recommend using the program Recuva, which can be downloaded and installed for free at the following link:

https://www.piriform.com/recuva

Once downloaded and installed, use the instructions at the following link to recover your files:

https://www.piriform.com/docs/recuva/using-recuva/wizard-mode/using-the-recuva-wizard-wizard-mode

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks,

David.

I recovered some of the files using EaseUS Data Recovery. Not sure why I ended up with this program. But there are no directions on how to put the files back on my computer. Also my outlook program no longer works.

How much do I owe you? I will probably have to take it to someone because I don't know what I am doing.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions at the following link to recover the files found using the EaseUS program:

http://www.easeus.com/tutorial/drw-free-user-guide.html

Please make sure that you save the recovered files to a USB drive or other external device and not to the hard drive of the computer as saving any files to the computer could result in overwriting the remaining files you are attempting to recover.

If you have not performed a deep scan with the EaseUS program, I recommend you do that next to recover the remaining files.

If all the files are still not recovered after running a deep scan, taking the computer to a recovery specialist would be best. Again, to avoid writing any information to the hard drive of the computer, if you have to shut down the computer, press and hold the power button rather than performing a graceful shutdown or completely remove power to shut down.

If you are satisfied with the service, please provide a positive rating.

Thank you,

David.
