MAC addresses are set in hardware at the factory and can't be changed.
It sounds like your router has been configured to only allow access to certain MAC addresses.
Do you recall it being set up this way?
Can you tell me the exact wording of the message that shows up on the TV screen?
Yep. Your router is blocking it.
You should be able to log in to the router and either add the MAC address: B8:3E59:00:54:29
or turn off the requirement that MACs need to be allowed.
Do you know how to log in to your router and do this?
Can I connect to your computer? From there I can log in to the router and look at the settings.
