I have an HP Touchscreen. When I try to download, the bar at the bottom that I'm supposed to click "run or save" never appears. It will say it is downloading, but I can never tell if it really is. Also, when I go in to the "downloads", there never is anything there about an HP download. HELP!! Is it something I'm not doing, or is it my computer? Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the following fix:

  1. Close all Internet Explorer windows /websites for now.
  2. Click Start , and then click Control Panel.
  3. Open Network and Internet, open Internet Options.
  4. Then click on Delete and delete only temporary internet files.
  5. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
  6. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
  7. Then Close.
  8. Then open Internet and see if you can download something.
  9. If needed, press at the same time the two keys Ctrl and J on the keyboard to see the Downloads status window.

If that does not work, please download and install Google Chrome program at

https://www.google.com/chrome/

; (If needed, press at the same time the two keys Ctrl and J on the keyboard to see the Downloads status window, then open / run chrome.)

; keep default option during installation, and when prompted to sign in Google Account, skip / cancel it.

, then close Internet Explorer

, then open Google Chrome program, use Google Chrome for going to the Internet / websites, and see if you can download fine in Google Chrome program.

Please reply at the box below to continue troubleshooting. Thank you.
