I have an ASUS 1015PE ATOMN450/2GB/160GB EEC PC Seashell

Customer Question

I have an ASUS 1015PE ATOMN450/2GB/160GB EEC PC Seashell Series Netbook. I use when traveling for personal use. I download Windows 10 and after install receiving error message 'missing acpi driver - please install driver'. I did a Google search and found many others have same problem. The fix is to download the Windows 10 drivers and try to install in compatibility mode. When I click on ASUS link to provided to install chipset driver told link not valid. After much digging I found on ASUS website drivers etc. I do not find any reference to my netbook. Windows 10 appears to be running okay other than this annoying box continually popping up in center of screen. Thoughts on how to fix or should I give up on Windows 10?

It looks like this notebook uses the intel chipset driver. Please try to download the driver from Intel's webite here:

Once you download and install that file, it should install the files to remove that error.

Did you try the install from the Intel tool?
