Would you please do this activity and update status
1: Open Device Manager (Click Start > on Run window type devmgmt.msc press enter key)
This opens device manager window
2: Under Device Manager> Click Keyboards section > and remove all items that shows under it
You can remove by right click item > Click Uninstall
Note: Do for all keyboards items that shows under keyboard section
3: Now reboot machine and see if it makes a difference
If issue appear even after, please answer
1: Does issue appear in welcome screen where you enter password ***** login desktop?
2: Can you create a second user profile and see if keyboard works on that profile?
3: If you have a second USB keyboard, check if that works fine?
