Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** will be helping you today.
This note you are missing......has it ever been saved before? Or is this a NEW note, that has NOT yet been saved in the past?
Have you recently upgraded to IOS 9?
ahh, I think your files were erased when you upgraded. YUP, the upgrade says it will do this, if you read the fine print.
But there is hope.....if you have Apple Backup turned on, and you sign in you might be able to recover.
Yes, but what im getting at....was this file backed up BEFORE you did the upgrade?
ok, and now today....when you went to use it....it was just GONE?
Hmmmm.....that is VERY strange.
You didn't do anything, and the Ipad didn't do anything.....yet your file is gone.
Hmmm....let me ponder this a second
Ahh, okay....then it is still there.....just not where you expect it.
Do a search of the IPAD (using the IPAD search feature), for the file name.....but just like the first word of the file name.
Once it finds it...it should also show you WHERE it is being kept.
swipe to the right, when you are on the home screen, and it should bring up the search feature.
swiping to the right, SHOULD bring up the search feature
swipe all the way to the right until you cant swipe right anymore, and at the top of the screen, a search box should be there
no....at the top, where the word search is, in the rounded box thingy. THAT IS WHERE you type in the file name you are searching for. It will then search everything!
in the search box, only put in the first word of the file name you want to seacrh
Hmm, then im not sure what to tell you, I have run out of suggestions.
I would have to do a remote session, but because you are on an IPAD, I don't thinkyou will be able to get it installed and running.
So I will opt out, maybe somebody else can help.....God help them.
your not following what I am telling you.
you only want the first word in the actual fine name, NOT the whole file name.
