Hi there and welcome
Can you remove the power cable and then hold the power button down for 60 seconds then release.
Then wait 3 minutes, connect the power cable and then try to turn it on.
Tell me if it then starts please.
Can you tell me please the make and model of the computer?
Can you also remove the battery and the power cable and again hold the power down for 60 seconds then release.
Then put the battery back in, connect the power cable and tell me if it now starts please.
ok, leave out the battery and only connect the power cable.
Does it then start?
It is the internal mainboard that has faulted and will be the power supply on it.
We have ruled out all other causes for this
