Hello my name is***** should be able to assist you.

Do you have the device connected to your router and then the phone plugged in to the device?
There should be two jacks on it, one is green and the other yellowish. The green is for the phone and yellow is for the ethernet cable that plugs into your router.

Yes you are right I did it but phone not working.

Expert:  Richard Hall replied 1 year ago.

Ok. Then we must test some settings.

Please pick up the phone attached to the Line 1 jack and dial: **** (four asterisks).

Then dial 110 #

This should give you your ip address. Please make a note of that and let me know what that is.

Thanks!

My ip address is 192.168.1.7

That's a good sign. That means it is communicating with your router.

What we will need to do is get to a computer that we can use to access the device.

May I ask where you purchased the device and if you were provided the subscriber information?

Phone number and such.

I bought it from ebay but they says it is unlocked.

Expert:  Richard Hall replied 1 year ago.

Ok. Let us check the settings on the device to see what information they provided where the device uses to authenticate.

If you go to a browser on a computer, you can enter that address in and a screen will pop up for the device and click on admin login in the upper right hand of the screen.

There may be a Nat setting that needs to be changed as well.

Typically, even if a device is unlocked, you still have to have to connect it to an SIP based VoIP Service.

Unlocked, just means it is not tied to any specific provider.

Do you still have the ebay link?
