Can you click start, run and type in CMD and press enter

Then type each of the command lines below, one line at a time, and press the Enter key each time:

netsh winsock reset

ipconfig /release

Can you remove the power to the wifi router and wait 5 minutes, while waiting, power off the computer.

Then power on the wifi router and then wait 5 minutes, power on the computer and tell me if you can then access it

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I tried that already and it made no difference. We also both use the same Wi-fi
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

yes, but it can be a corrupted lease.

Can you click start, type in

ncpa.cpl

press enter

Right click on wireless network connection and select Properties

Click Internet Protocol 4 and click protocol

Then enter in for the DNS entries

4.2.2.2

And as the alternate

4.2.2.1

Click ok to save this, then restart the computer and tell me if you can now access it please.

I really don't think would be related to the wifi router, because we traveled from Toronto to New York yesterday. We are now in New York - completely different wifi router and I am having the same problem.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

ok, my my last instructions had nothing to do with the router...

It is no problem if you do not wish to work with me and do my instructions, but just let me know please

Thank you

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I just wanted you to know what the circumstances were. I do have to step away from my computer for a bit. I will follow through in a while and get back to you.
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

thanks, ***** ***** know when you have done my instructions

btw, I only said that as some customers can be very stubborn with what they feel is the problem and will nt back suggestions, I usually exit from that. That was the reason for my last post.

Thanks
