I get the following error message when trying to import

I get the following error message when trying to import pictures etc. "Filename contains unsupported characters. Modify the system language or characters in the filename and try again.[338]

that error probably means exactly what it says. there is an issue with the names of the files.

you used characters like / or ? or some control code that you cant see.

where are you getting the pictures from ?

try changing the names to something simple and then import them again

My file names are fine; I just opened an old file and it imported. So I opened a new file and it imported ... glitch in the system or virus?

more likely a glitch than a virus i would think. or maybe 1 file in the bunch that has something weird in the file name
