I' am trying to send a file with my accounting software

I' am trying to send a file with my accounting software program to a third party. When i try to send it i get this message; Unable to submit e-file. Note: If an Internet connection has not yet been established, you may want to establish an Internet connection
prior to submitting e-file. Also, if you are running any sort of "personal firewall" application, you may want to disable it prior to submitting e file. I do have an internet connection and i did disable the firewall temporarily to send file, but i still get
this message and the file is not being sent. What can i do to fix this problem?

Hello,

What is the accounting software you are using called?

And, what is the third party you are sending to called? If you know?

Getting an error message like that, typically means, that the accounting software is NOT checking for an internet connection, otherwise it would say it failed to send.

The accounting software I think is the culprit, but without more info, im just guessing.

The accounting software i am using is Tax Act 2013 and the third party is the IRS.
