I am the person that will be helping you today.
Is the problem computer a laptop or desktop? Is the keyboard a usb keyboard or a ps/2 keyboard?

Thank you for the update.
May I start a remote screen sharing session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem?
When the remote begins, a chat window will appear that we can use to communicate with each other.

No worries. A remote is not needed, if you don't want it. I know that some people do not like it.
Please, follow the instructions below to solve your problem:
- Click the Start Button > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
- Choose to Restore to an earlier time > Click Next.
- Choose a date at least one week before you started experiencing your problem.
- Click NEXT > NEXT > NEXT.
- Your computer will restart and your issue will be gone.
I know there was a message about losing drivers and such earlier. You can ignore that message if it comes up again. After you restore it, all will be good to go.
