Hi, I am A. Stevens here to help with your question! Could you let me know what service/product you are having issues with?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hello Mr Stevens. I use Lotus Approach (database) on a PC running Windows XP. The database has 5000+ records each with 60 fields and there are about 20 forms. Each record had a unique number because when first set up it was given a field with sequential numbers. The operator went into design and filed definition and changed it to text. All the record number disappeared. So I want to create new ones. She has also deleted the original field. How do I set up a field that will number each record sequentially from 1 to 5000 and then continue to do this when new records are added?

Sorry I apologize, I wasn't sure of the details of your question so that's why I picked it up to get some details, but unfortunately I am not well versed in Lotus Approach. I will opt out of this question to allow another expert to assist you. They will be able to see your description here.

Thanks - do I have to start again with my question and pay another fee? Or does it get pushed around the park?
