There are many possible cause for that.. First, did you check if your APP is still active? Second, did you access the APP on the same computer where you have first installed the APP software? If your magicJack APP is already expired and you have the same phone number for both the magicJack and magicJack APP, you can no longer use your APP because there is no more renewal for APP subscription(on computers). App download is currently available for iOS devices ONLY. When you plug in the magicJack device, the dial pad will display the information of the magicJack and not the magicJack APP. For you to check if the dial pad or softphone you have on your computer is for magicJack or APP, click on MENU and make sure that you see the serial number that starts with A921......(this is for magicJack), if it starts with V000..... (that is for APP). If you access your APP on another computer(different from the computer where you have first installed the magicJack APP software), it will no longer work because no more new download of APP on new computers.
