i just received a Wireless weather station model WS9037U-IT. The intro;action say nothing about mounting the remote sensor outdoors first before inserting the batteries in both units.
Is this correct? If not, when does one mount the remote?

Hi,
My name is***** will assist you.
Yes that is correct. First insert the batteries in the transmitter and then within two minutes of powering up the transmitter you will need to install the batteries in the weather station.

When should ;the remote be mounted outdoors?
Expert:  Randy Computer Tech replied 1 year ago.
yes, you can mount it first. However you do not have to, as long as you get the batteries installed in the weather station within the two minutes. You can do that first and then mount it later if you prefer to get it working first.
