Customer Question

When using Hyperlink in Excel, the following message shows after trying to save:
The file "Book1.xls"may have been changed by another user since you last saved it. In that case, what do you want to do?
Save a copy?
Overwrite changes?
Copying creates a new folder so I use the second one. However, it appears that all that was saved and Hyperlinked in the past is now unlinked.
How can I get rid of the above message and reinstate the Hyperlinks?

Thanks for your question. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.
When you save it John, choose Save As instead and save it to a different location.
Does it then save correctly?

I use the #screen# ***** top left hand side which does not give me the option.

I notice next to this icon is another with two arrows relating to Hyperlink. Can I use these to reset all the Hyperlinks that seem to have been deleted?

Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.
I am not exactly sure what your referring to Jon, if you click File, you should see save as.
The only way to recover the hyperlinks is if you get offered the option to recover the document.
