Brandon M. :

Would you be able to send me everything I need so I can review?

Customer :

yes

Customer :

how can i attach the two documents?

Brandon M. :

The best way is to use Wikisend: http://www.wikisend.com/

Brandon M. :

Just provide me the file ID or URL of the files after you upload them

Customer :

http://wikisend.com/download/357294/New Waiver file.pdf

Customer :

and now for the excel spreadsheet with the information.

is this secure?

very sensitive info.

Brandon M. :

Yes, only I can download it since I will have the FIle ID

Customer :

i tried to save it as an excel document but this is what i got..

Customer :

http://wikisend.com/download/435422/New Waiver file.xlsx

Customer :

Customer :

http://wikisend.com/download/224864/employee info for waiver form.xlsx

Customer :

here is a sample of the info for a few of them..but the total is about 700

Customer :

how do we look? do-able?

Brandon M. :

Sorry, having some chat issues.

Brandon M. :

Hrm, let me see what I can produce.

Brandon M. :

Ohh I see what you are trying to do.

Brandon M. :

Not entirely sure that is going to be possible. Those forms typically need to stay just as they are (not converted)

Brandon M. :

I don't know of a way to mail merge with a PDF, thogh

Brandon M. :

though

Customer :

:( ok. Should i try and recreate the form in excel? that way a v look up may help?

Customer :

the mail merge was going to be using a general excel spreadhseet with badge expiration dates to pop up on my outlookl calendar to notify employees.

Brandon M. :

No, it would be pretty difficult to recreate that form in Excel.

Customer :

oh crap..

Brandon M. :

I might be able to convert this to a PDF form. Not sure if we can somehow import the information in.

Brandon M. :

You might need to purchase a program to do it.

Customer :

i need to step away from my desk for about 30mins..

my cell is(NNN) NNN-NNNN. if you have any questions..

brb

Customer :

which form?

Brandon M. :

It's software - I might be able to make this into a fillable form, then you can use software to import the information in

Customer :

oh i see

Customer :

let me see if my IT has it

Customer :

they have the license for changing the pdf to a fillable form

Customer :

ok can we reconvene in about 30 mins?

Brandon M. :

Sure.

Customer :

ok i am back.

Brandon M. :

Ok

Customer :

should i go ahead and request the software?

Brandon M. :

If your IT department wants to do it, the PDF needs to have fields added, then you then you can use that software (form filler) to fill the fields in.

Brandon M. :

See the page I linked you how on

Brandon M. :

on how*

Customer :

do i need to do that for each individual person?

Customer :

do i need to do it for each individual person?

Brandon M. :

No, there is an import feature (#5)

Brandon M. :

on that page

Customer :

ok.

Customer :

any thoughts on the mail merge from the excel spreadsheet for the expiration dates o outlook calendar?

Brandon M. :

I've never heard of such a thing, to be honest. I don't think there would be a way to do that.

Customer :

actually there is such a thing..i started to do it but got side tracked.

Brandon M. :

I wasn't aware. If you have a solution then you might just stick to that.

Customer :
