Are you connected to the same wifi to which the laptop is connected?
Do you have access to the laptop and is it connected to the wifi now?

Yes it's thesame network. Will open up browser andwillconnect but will not pull up pages. hardware diagnosis said no problems were found

Can you open internet explorer, and type in 220.127.116.11
then search to see if somethings opens
ie cannot display the webpage
tried the search tab and the placethat displays the website
Please send screenshot, you need to type the IP Address in the Address Bar of the internet explorer
On the Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings (take the screenshot and send)
Also is this wifi behind a server or a firewall or is the wifi router directly connected to the internet without any (server / switches) in between.
other laptops and phones can connect. And at any wifi place it does the same thing. it started this acouple years ago and just quit using it. one day itwas fine. Then started doingit. same network and everything
It can be fixed but needs troubleshoting
Uncheck "use a proxy"
So should Ijust take it somewhere?
