Hello again. I am logged onto my partner's computer now. Darlène. Montréal

Hello Darlène! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the issue with your partner's computer? Does it have windows xp, vista, or 7?

Can we do a screen sharing remote session, so I can chat with you and fix this issue directly for you?

Please let me know. Thank you

Actually, it is my computer that needs work. For the past few days, I have been seeing all kinds of pop-up and worrisome activity when I go into Internet Explorer. The expert I spoke to fifteen minutes ago suggested I log onto my partner's computer in order to reset Internet Explorer on my computer.

I got it. Please try the following on your computer:

  1. Close all Internet Explorer windows and folders.
  2. Click Start , and then click Control Panel.
  3. Open Network and Internet if available; open Internet Options. Then click on Delete and delete only temporary internet files.
  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
  5. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
  6. Then check.

Please let me know if there is still any issue. Thank you
