For Online Computer Support, Ask a Computer Technician
Hello Welcome to JustAnswer
Please let me know when you are ready to chat :)
Do you have windows xp or 7
I am sorry then you cannot change disk parition space of drive c:
You can only change while you are installing windows
You will have to install whole windows again to change the parition disc
that is such a drag. why would they provide a 106GB hard drive, but only allocate 14GB to the C partition. So, I could, say install Windows 7, wiping everything out and starting over?
They give less space to c drive because it should only have windows
You can have other programs in drive d
Because if some problem happens you can install windows again and you will not loose anything
well, every program you get wants to load onto the C drive. Some installs don't even ask, right?
because everything will be in drive d
Every program asks you can choose custom installation and choose drive d:
So you should not install things on drive c:
I just did one that didn't. Just went ahead and installed on the Cdrive. Anyway, thanks for your help.
Please let me if you have any questions regarding this
You can create a folder in drive d for programs
