The issue that you have mentioned can be caused due to various reasons, however the most probable cause is:
1. Unwanted toolbars
2. Temporary files and cookies.

Please follow the steps as mentioned below:

To run Internet Explorer without add-ons, first go to Start > Run, type iexplore –extoff and press Enter.

Internet explorer will now start without the add-ons.

Alternatively, you can find the shortcut of Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) in start menu.

Navigate to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer(No Addons)

Let me know if internet explorer open fine in no addon mode.

things are worse. After logging on the window just singles it's searching.

clicking MSN or Internet explorer indicates it's searching.

I have did some research on visual C ++ there must be some way to rid this, there is two business running on this computer.

Please try to reset Internet explorer. CLick start. in search type inetcpl.cpl and press enter.

Go to internet options and click reset IE.

Then launch Ie and see if it is fine.

If it still doesn't work try installing firefox web browser

Let me know if firefox also gives the same isssue. Then it is definitely an infection or corrupt runtime.

please be informed that suggested worked.


had a local repair Technician run a complete check and after several hours everything is working fine. I might add there was no virus detected.
