I have an HP Pavilion p6000 series that blew its vidoe board. When I went to change it out I found that the panels are riveted on. How do I remove the side panel and put it back on?

On the HP Pavilion p6000 series of computer we have to remove the front panel first before removing the side panel

The front cover comes off

Which then allows for the side panel to slide forward (toward the computers front)

These instructions are only for computer cases that do not have a screw on the back holding the door in place

Joshua C. :

If you look on the back of your computer and see a thumb screw or a screw near the side panel that would be what you would want to remove and then open the door
