I have a Toshiba Satellite C675. The battery icon and the volume

I have a Toshiba Satellite C675. The battery icon and the volume icon have vanished from the lower right of the taskbar. When I go into properties/customize/Turn system icons on or off, the dropdown menus for both are gray and won't drop down.

ok in that case lets run a system restore 2 days back

Michelle :

the system restore should reverse any changes to the system that might have caused the issue to occour.


 


click start...in the search box type system restore


in the window that appears, restore computer to earlier date and time and click next
select a date may be a week or 2 back when system was running fine and click next
follow the onscreen steps

please restore 2-3 days back and not 2-3 weeks

Michelle :

your computer will restart during this..so once restore completes please reopen this chat from just answer email
