Hello, I have an Acer aspire 8943G, about 3 yrs. old. Suddenly, the battery doesn´t work at all; the icon in the righ panel says ""96% available (connected but no charging)".

Could I fix it with a new battery or could it be any other problem unrelated to the battery?.

Thank you
Javier
Hi Javier,

This problem is indeed a faulty battery in 99% of the time. Replacing the battery with a new one will fix this issue.
You will see the battery charge to 100%, and it will work properly then.

I hope this helps!
