I was told by a computer tech that my emachine D620 ip release and ip renew were not working and that I would have to call the manufacturer. Is this true and how do I do that?

Do you have a CD burner on the computer you are using now?

Ok. There is an online service that allows you to create a CD to boot the computer with that you have forgotten the password XXXXX

You can then upload the file to the service and it will decrypt the password.

Yes, the site is www.loginrecovery.com and is the only way to recover your password XXXXX having to re-install Windows and lose all your data.

and will I be able to do that if the ip address is corrupted

Yes, you can always use it to recover the Windows password, despite any issues with the machine itself

how can I reinstall windows if I don't care about the data on the machine. There is nothing but my grandson's school work from 2 years ago.
