The volume icon is stuck onscreen on my ipad2 and the volume button does not seem to be working. I have tried rebooting several times but it doesn't work.

Press both Home and Power buttons and hold for about 30 seconds, until Apple logo shows up. Then release both buttons. iPad will restart..

Then check if everything is ok and let me know please

Its actually a very common problem on the Ipad2 to have a stuck volume button

Already said I tried resetting several times and that does not work

ok. well, tried holding home and power button

90% of the time this happens the unit will need to be sent in for repair.

Does your ipad2 have a case on it that could be restricting the button?

If you have an apple store near to you, that would be your easiest method

TaylorTech :

They do accept walkins also, no apt necessary in just about all locations
