Hello. Im trying to upload a review of a business on Google

Hello. I'm trying to upload a review of a business on Google Maps but the review is not uploading properly. Can someone help? I've written the review and gone through the steps but it's not showing, I must be doing something wrong.

How long ago did you post the review?

They do this so they can look at the review and basically approve it. They have to be sure the content conforms to policy regarding bad language etc etc

Hi. I believe I uploaded it last week, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, but the owner of pcmacexpress says he cannot see it. I gave them a glowing review for setting up my new computer. They are one of the best. When I look on Google, I see an option to "edit" my review, then "publish". I always hit publish but it still says 29, not 30 listed.

Once you write the review and publish it, it takes some time to get it posted up there

Yes. I chose publish every time but it doesn't appear. Could there be a problem with my name? I don't mind my full name associated with this review ?

Can it take a week?

It has been known to in some instances yes

google house thousands of these to go through and each one must be combed through for bad content

Okay, so if it does not appear within the next few days, is there a Google service I can contact?

So, I'm doing the right thing with publish?

No unfortunately not, they dont offer any live customer service

But the odds are good for it uploading?

TaylorTech :

Yes once a review is written and submitted via the publish option then its a waiting game

google dont get in any hurry :-)

It took my business 8 weeks to be listed in google maps after submission if that tell you anything :-)

Its just a long process that must be done to protect them and the business
