If this is a new error then a system restore might solve the problem.
Click the Start button and navigate to...
All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
Select a date prior to the error your having and let windows run the restore.

All my restore dates have the errors...that is why I was searching for another way to repair them without reinstalling Windows. Unfortunately your answers had already been tried.
