Hi there, and welcome to JustAnswer, I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible. To help me properly understand your problem, can you clarify / answer the following please as I don't want to assume and provide an incorrect answer.- You are using a Microsoft Access Database? If so which verion. If not what program?Thank You
I have no idea. I didn't set it up
That makes it challenging Donna! :-)Lets start with telling me the steps you do to open it. And if it is on your computer or a website. What is the name of the program?
The program was put on my desk top. Its called Tuesday. I double click it opens to access security notice. from there I press open
ok, can you go to this website please Donnawww.wikisend.com and click BrowseSelect the program and then press uploadIt will upload the file and when it completes, will provide you a download link. Can you please give me this download link and I can look at the program and see about recovering the dataThank You
Thanks Donna,The problem is this file is the "Front End" of the programThe data is stored somewhere else. Do you know where this could be?
Do you have an IT department there?
no. I'm a private home
ok, when you said it was put on your desktop. How was this done? Did you download something and if so from where?
I was not there. He took my computer home and did it.. I'm not computer savy
maybe I should take it to a local IT person
I have been trying to open it Donna to get the data out of it, but it is a locked file and not possible. The person who made this has the original and this is what you need. A local IT person is going to have the same problem as me sorry, only the person who made this can restore the data via the source program. Are you able to contact them? And have them use the source (original) program to restore the data?
