OK, there seems to be a lot of this going on recently. I have helped quite a few customers just like yourself this week. They have all paid for the service but get that same message when they try to call out. I am going to give you some steps to follow. If after you follow these steps it does not resolve the issue you will need to chat with the MJ Billing department. Unfortunatley Magic Jack does not have a phone service everything is done through chat. But I can promise you that my troubleshooting steps should work and if not then I will shot you exactly how to get in touch with the billing department VIA a chat just like this

OK first Here is the link to the Billing dept of Magic Jack. Once you click on the link fill out your info and then click on start Chat. CLICK HERE Here are the trouble Shooting steps 1. First I want you to remove your magic Jack from the computer
2. Next click on start > control panel > add remove programs or Uninstall a program what ever you see
3. Now when the list comes up find Magic Jack in the list, and click on it so its highlighted
4. Now at the top choose Uninstall
5. Next, let it completely uninstall
6. Restart Your computer
7. Once its restarted please plug in your magic Jack and allow it to re install the software. It will do that automatically
8. Once the software is installed try to make calls out
