Hi, thank you for using JustAnswer.com. I am glad to assist you today.

The possible down time depends on your Name Server settings in the new account. Provided that your website is hosted in the same server and only the domain registrar is changed, the NEW domain registrar account MUST still point to the Name Server of your web hosting server. If that name server is set already in the new registrar account, there will be no down time in this case. This is common when your domain registrar is also your web hosting server.

I hope that helped. Keep me posted with your results so that I can help you further.

Best regards,
Jess

Thank you for that information.

Were you able to transfer the domain to another account already without experiencing downtime?

Customer replied 315 days and 7 hours ago.

if i change my hosting company should i experience prb with emails

Basically, there should be NO problem with your Windows Live Mail when you transfer to another hosting company. Since your domain name is XXX XXXXXXX, your email address is not changed as well. Also, the POP and SMTP servers are be default similar among web hosting servers and providers so there is nothing that you need to do from your Windows Live Mail end.

However, before you do the transfer, you can call the web hosting company if the name of the POP or IMAP servers will then be different or not.

I hope that helped. Keep me posted with your results so that I can help you further.

Best regards,
Jess
