Greetings Toby
Thanks for the response, still can not get gmail to load from pc or iphone.
I tried the solution you outlined above, did not work. I could not get microfsoft exchange to work on iphone. When I reloaded Gmail, it would load but only to May 7.
Any other ideas?
If you sign in at https://mail.google.com from your computer, do you see all of your email? And when you said your reloaded Gmail, what did you do exactly? Thanks
Yes I tried google logon directly a couple of times... still not working.
Currently I have access to any email, May 7 or older, just can not receive or send any email since that date.
What is the error message you are receiving when signing into the Gmail website?
None, able to login fine... no error message
Ok, you can get signed in, so that is good. Do you see mail more current than May 7th in the Inbox?
No that is the problem since May 7 I have not been able to receive or send emails from this account.
On the lefthand column (where you see your labels (folders)), click on More to view all of your labels, and then select All Mail. Do you see any mail more current than May 7th? If not, then what happens if you send yourself an email from this account?Another thing you could try is checking your settings and make sure you don't have a forward or rule setup. You can do that by clicking on the gear icon (righthand corner) > Settings > Filters > check for any filters that could be putting your new messages into another folder. Afterwards, check for mail forwards by click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
I found where my mail is going...trash folder. All incoming mail since May 7th has been going into Trash how do I correct?
There is a filter in place causing this to happen. Go to Settings > Filters, and look for the one is the deleting your mail in the Do This: section of the filter. Once you delete the filter (rule), then your mail should deliver like normal. As far as moving the mail in Trash back to the Inbox, select the messages your want to move, then press the Move To: (folder looking) icon above the messages, and select Inbox.
