HI!
If your menu bar is missing in Internet Explorer, try to ativate it by right-clicking on the top bar of your Internet Explorer and checking "Menu Bar"
When I just clicked on the top bar, I did not see "Menu Bar"--I saw only Restore Minimize and Close
You should perform a System Restore to a date when IE was still working properly and then check your system for malware by using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
I have already done both of those things.
Do you know of way that I can reinstall Explorer 8. When I have tried, the installion process stops.
Go to Control Panel and then use "Add / Remove Programs" to uninstall Internet Explorer 8
This may only work if an additional browser is installed
I am very sorry ,Thomas< but I have had more than oine person tell me that I must NEVER tyr to unistall Explorer 8. Can all of them be wrong?
If you uninstall IE 8, you should be getting IE 7 automatically
Then reinstall IE 8
OK Thomas, I don't really know if I have enough courage to follow your last piece of advice, but we'll let it go at that. Thanks for your advice
you're welcome
