Please provide more information so that I can give you a better answer:

Is that a standard PC / laptop keyboard or have you connected an extended numeric keyboard to a computer? Also, has it stopped working only recently or it never worked?

With my windows 7 x64 Ultimate O/S, with any keyborad I use, the right hand numeric key pad does not type out numbers on the computer screen. Once in a while it is working, but most of the time it is not and I do not understand why.

Try do do the following:

Go to Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Make the keyboard easier to use

Un-tick Turn on Mouse Keys and click OK. If that box has already been un-ticked, then tick it, click OK, and un-tick it and click OK.

That should work for you.
