I have a new HP computer running windows 7. I downloaded ITunes which functions including my purchased music, etc. I have an original IPad also containing downloads from my personal CD's. When attempting to sync I get an error message on my computer: "The iPad cannot be synced. The required disc cannot be found", and the screen freezes.
Already Tried: Reinstalled iTunes on the HP computer.

I have personally seen this error not too long ago with another customer of mine.
The issue came Itunes not liking the USB port that the Ipad was connected to.
Can you test something for me? Which port was the Ipad connected to, a front usb port or a rear?
No problem, was it on the side port or the rear?
Great :)
Go ahead and plug the USB cable for the IPAD into the rear port
Test the sync once again with it in the rear port
