Customer Question

RuneScape had an update at 923am EST, and now i can't get to the "Lobby." I am using the RS client. The Login screen comes up, but that's all. The 4 links above where the gamescreen is located are present, but the gamescreen doesn't show up. In addition, I can't get into any of the 4 links......i just get the background (black). What to do????

Click Start then click on your Windows 7 User name

Then Double Click the runescape folder

singe click the live folder and press delete on the keyboard

nothing specifically designated to that on the start menu here

What you want to do is click start and then click on your user name

i see the live folder.....ok going back to it

It will open a new window look for a folder called jagexcache double click on it, let me know when you get this far

Also in the folder that had live look for something that says preferences, let me know if you see that.

ok got LIVE deleted going back for preferences

here's a puzzle....i have jagex_cache32 and jagexcache1 so i took "LIVE" out of that (deleted), but there isnt anything else showing .

Try to launch the client and see if removing the live folder made a difference.

well, it's better.....the login screen is still there, but it's frozen :s

i am going to try reloading.....sometimes this works

If you click the msi thats downloading int he corner it should say opening in XX seconds
