And also, was this computer previously able to see and connect to your hard drive, or is this the first time you have tried to set it up?

Ok, This hard drive, does it have files on it already you need to access, or is it a brand new drive and you just want it to work?

MY BOSS INSTALLED ALL THE FILES FROM HIS COMPUTER ON IT FOR ME SO I CAN LEARN AND GET MY PROMOTION

Ok.. With the Hard drive connected to your computer via a usb cord.

Please do the following



Please press the windows key on your keyboard , hold it down, and press R

( the windows key is two keys to the left of your spacebar)

Type in exactly

diskmgmt.msc and hit enter.

Now, click action, click rescan disks.

Wait 20 seconds.

now click action, click refresh

Wait 20 seconds.

now, what do you see at the bottom and top for disks and volumes, let me know everything you see!

ON THE BOTTOM I SEE A RED TOOLBOX ON TOP I SEE A COMPUTER SCREEN WITH AN ! IN IT

Is it showing any volumes or drives listed at all?

YES IT OPENED. ITS SHOWING. LENOVO 29.00 GB NTFS HEALTHY (LOGICAL DRIVE). THEN I SCROLL DOWN AN ITS GOT CD-ROM 0 NO MEDIA

Ok.. Since your not so good with computers, it may be best If I connect to you and try to fix this issue myself, also showing you how to see the drive in the future.

In an effort to resolve this issue, I would like to offer you a remote support session.. What a remote support session does is allow me to connect to your and to your computer, and then I can manually see whats happening from here, and then make the neccessary changes while you observe. accept the remote support terms.. Then, install the software.. If your antivirus asks you to allow it, please do so.
