My computer keeps trying to repair itself, but doesn't go anywhere. How can I fix it?

yes, i've tried it and it failed because something at the registry point was damaged and couldn't be recovered

Did you try to start in safe mode?

i haven't yet

As soon as you start the computer, please try hitting F8 key and choose Safe mode.

alright i'm trying

it froze

1. Please shut down the computer.
2.As soon as you restart your computer immediately start hitting (up and down) F8(it is on the top line of the keyboard).
3. Choose Last known good configuration by using up and down arrow keys on the keyboard and hit Enter.

Customer :

alright i'll try again, the first time i tried this it failed

Please start tapping F8, choose Repair your computer and hit enter.

Customer :

  1. Please insert the System Repair disc into the DVD drive and restart the computer.

    Turn off the power and turn the power back on.

  2. Now, the screen displays Press any key to boot from CD or DVD. Press any key. Click Next.

  3. When System Recover is finished searching for Windows installations, click Next.

  4. Choose Use Recovery Tools That Can Help Fix Problems Starting Windows. Click Next.

  5. Choose

    • Startup Repair: A good first attempt. Automatically fix problems that are preventing Windows from starting.
