My Lenovo laptops monitor will not turn on this morning.

Resolved Question:

My Lenovo laptop's monitor will not turn on this morning. It was in sleep mode overnight, and I've stilll got two lights showing -- the two on the left, one showing the on switch and one showing a battery. But the two other lights will not come on and the monitor is dark.

No, I'm sorry, I don't have the literature with me. I bought it about a year ago.

on the bottom of the laptop you can find the series and model number

OK, the series number is s/n CBU3469763 and the m/o is CB00080402

OK then that is the model number,now please do the following


Turn off the laptop (ifs on )and disconnect the AC adapter. Remove the battery and press and hold the power button for about 60 seconds. Release the button do not insert the battery back now plug the adaptor back and turn on the computer. See if the problem persists.

Also, I can't turn it off. When I push the on/off switch, the two lights stay on.
